Job Summary
The successful candidate will lead daily operations, drive sales performance, and ensure smooth execution of store activities, as well as responsible for achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and developing team members to deliver an excellent shopping experience. The role requires good leadership in managing inventory, planning promotions, optimizing manpower deployment, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.

This position is a 6-days work week with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental sales and profitability, ensuring achievement of budget and stretch targets.
• Manage inventory levels and stock holding days through effective ordering practices to maximize product availability and sales.
• Plan and execute sales strategies, with a focus on promotional and seasonal items.
• Prepare weekly rosters and manage SPLH in line with promotional/seasonal calendars to optimize manpower deployment and control salary costs.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through on‑the‑job training, special assignments, and structured programs.
• Maintain high standards in shelf ticketing, product display, housekeeping, hygiene, stock rotation, replenishment, and customer service.
• Ensure a conducive shopping environment that enhances customer satisfaction.
• Undertake any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant store operations experience.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods while providing attentive customer service
• Enjoys engaging and interacting with customers in a dynamic retail environment
• Able to handle and carry products weighing between 10-15 kg
