As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations while also contributing to key project initiatives. At Vanir Global Markets, our Middle Office team ensures seamless processes following Front Office activities - from accurate trade entry to the timely delivery of market data to clients. In addition to operational responsibilities, this role requires web development expertise. You will continue the ongoing development and support of our proprietary internal web systems, built on a modern JavaScript stack. Your contributions will directly improve operational efficiency and scalability across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Middle Office Operations:

• Ensure smooth daily operations by accurately entering trades, generating timely confirmations, and maintaining precise trade records.
• Validate trade data for accuracy, including billing and invoicing, while resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance and operational standards.
• Prepare and distribute reports, and respond promptly to client inquiries on trade and post-trade matters.

Web Development & System Support:

• Continue ongoing development and maintenance of Vanir's internal web-based systems, built on a JavaScript stack (Next.js, React.js, Node.js, Supabase, Vercel, Render.io).
• Enhance and support existing web platforms, including troubleshooting, implementing new features, and managing integrations with external APIs (e.g., MS Graph for email automation).

Qualifications:

Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Candidates with qualifications in other analytical fields (e.g., Finance, Mathematics, Business Analytics) will also be considered if they possess demonstrable web development skills.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with hands-on experience using React.js and Next.js.
• Knowledge of Node.js runtime environments.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, ideally via Supabase.
• Experience with cloud hosting services such as Vercel (front-end) and Render.io (backend).
• Understanding of API integrations, especially Microsoft Graph API for email and workflow automation.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver accurate and timely results during market hours.
• Singaporean Citizenship or Permanent Resident status in Singapore.
