Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Marine Superintendent to join our technical/operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of the assigned vessels. This includes providing marine and navigational support to vessels and acting as a liaison between the ship and shore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure vessels operate in accordance with international and local maritime laws, ISM/ISPS Code, and company policies.
• Conduct navigational audits, safety inspections, and pre-vetting inspections.
• Assist with incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Support vessels in voyage planning, cargo operations, and navigational matters.
• Liaise with port authorities, flag states, classification societies, and other regulatory bodies.
• Participate in crew training and briefing sessions, including onboard visits.
• Ensure proper documentation and certification of vessels are maintained.
• Provide operational support during dry-docking or repair periods.
• Support in the implementation of safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar maritime shore-based role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems and auditing.
