We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our technology team within a leading banking institution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, API design, middleware integration, and cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of banking systems and regulatory environments. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that align with the bank's digital transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for banking applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business goals.
• Lead the development of scalable microservices and APIs using Java and modern integration patterns.
• Define and implement middleware strategies for seamless communication between distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-native architectures and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for banking workloads.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards in all solution designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and risk analysis for critical banking systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong background in Java development.
• Proven experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and middleware solutions.
• Solid understanding of banking systems, including core banking, payments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design principles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, security protocols, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly.
• Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) is a plus.
