In this role, you'll play a key role in our daily operations-crafting our signature churros, maintaining a clean and organised space, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile. If you're energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating sweet moments, we'd love to meet you!
Job description
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Churros Preparation & Presentation: Although prior experience in churro making is not required (training will be provided), you should be adept at following standard recipes and presentation techniques to ensure product consistency.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers, ensuring satisfaction with both service and product. Handle queries and feedback promptly and professionally.
- POS Management: Operate and manage the point of sale (POS) system for order processing and sales tracking.
- Food Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed.
- Staff Rostering: Schedule and manage staff shifts effectively.
- Training and Development: Train new employees on shop procedures, churro-making techniques, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
- Opening and Closing Duties: Responsible for opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, MEP for the day.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong understanding of operational dynamics.
- Experience with POS systems and basic financial transactions.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, as required.
