Job Requirements
- Support HOD in developing and executing strategic plans aligned with the company's overall objectives to drive growth, profitability, and expansion within the wholesale trade division.
- Oversee aspects of wholesale trade operations, including inventory management, logistics, distribution and customer service.
- Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall productivity while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage and optimise the supply chain, ensuring the timely procurement of goods, efficient inventory turnover and effective distribution to customers or retail partners.
- Oversee and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, analyse financial performance and optimise costs while ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets.
- Mentor and manage operation team, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation and professional growth.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, trade laws and industry regulations related to wholesale trade operations. Assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions, ensuring safe work environment.
- Analyse operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Other ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned by Superior.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Supply Chain Qualification or equivalent
- At least 5 - 6 years of management/leadership experience
- Experience in wholesale trade operations, with a strong track record in a managerial or HOD role.
- Profound knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, and wholesale trade dynamics.
- Strategic planning and decision-making skills with the ability to drive operational excellence and growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
