We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at Octomate. This role offers the opportunity to start as a contract/temporary hire, with the strong potential to be converted to a full-time role within 3-6 months, based on performance and business needs.

Looking for candidates who can start in Jan to June 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business users and Product Owners to understand processes and gather requirements
• Perform detailed requirements analysis and contribute to solution design
• Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure clear and actionable user stories
• Conduct functional testing and coordinate user acceptance tests
• Provide user training as part of project delivery
• Offer operational support by recommending solutions to end-user issues

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication, with strong technical writing ability
• Keen understanding of user needs and interest in software delivery

Preferred

• Experience or knowledge in test automation tools
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, agile working environment
• Strong team player with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
