- Lead business requirements gathering sessions and ensure documentation aligns with project goals.
- Develop detailed and accurate Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) to guide technical teams.
- Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders, development, and QA teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and prioritize defect triage, leading review meetings and coordinating issue resolution.
- Prepare and present defect summary reports with insights on root causes and trends.
- Ensure seamless integration of multiple systems and interfaces by aligning technical and business specifications.
- Support or contribute to quality analysis activities to maintain high standards of delivery.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
- Maintain clear and proactive stakeholder communication to manage expectations and progress.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in business requirements gathering and documentation.
- Strong ability to write clear and comprehensive FSDs.
- Effective at working with cross-functional teams and aligning business and technical objectives.
- Solid experience in defect triage and coordinating resolution activities.
- Skilled in preparing defect summary reports with actionable insights.
- Experience with system integration across multiple platforms and interfaces.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in quality analysis and supporting QA processes.
- Industry experience in Banking, Retail Customer Leads, or Service Requests is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
