We are partnering with a leading player in the chemical gas industry to hire a Strategic Business Manager who will take the lead on high-impact carbon projects. This is a high-visibility role, and prior experience working with or within the public sector will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and drive new market and business growth opportunities across targeted regions or sectors
• Develop actionable business cases and lead end-to-end project delivery from opportunity assessment through to investment decision
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial, technical, financial, and legal stakeholders on project objectives
• Monitor market trends and translate complex data into recommendations that support strategic investment and development efforts
• Lead commercial negotiations with potential clients or partners; engage with external vendors, regulators, and government authorities as required
• Champion internal change initiatives and transformation projects to optimize operations, reduce cost, and enhance revenue
• Implement tools, systems, and structures that ensure delivery of strategic goals, including performance tracking and continuous improvement processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in strategy, business development, corporate project management, or consulting
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering measurable business outcome
• Strong financial understanding and ability to build investment proposals with sound ROI metric
• Skilled at navigating cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholder communication
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, capital-intensive, or multinational environment
• Excellent problem-solving, influencing, and organizational skill
