Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of product authentication for luxury branded items like Hermes, Rolex, and more. Also auction operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards. Key focus on quality control, vendor coordination, and operational excellence within the luxury goods (or applicable) sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth authentication of luxury goods such as watches, jewelry, and handbags using visual inspection, brand knowledge, and industry tools.
  • Manage day-to-day auction operations, including product intake, lotting, cataloging, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate placement of items in the auction system.
  • Oversee data entry, photo verification, and quality assurance of product listings.
  • Monitor auction performance, resolve operational issues, and implement improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and ethical standards in handling secondhand/preloved goods.
  • Contribute to building and scaling operations from the ground up in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in authenticating luxury goods (e.g., watches, jewelry, handbags, or apparel), with strong knowledge of major brands and the ability to accurately identify counterfeits.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auction operations, e-commerce logistics, or inventory management
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume workflows
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Proficiency in inventory or auction management systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, proprietary platforms)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable to work in a small team and be flexible, hands-on and proactive.
  • Passion for secondhand / preloved luxury markets is an advantage

Work Environment: This position will be based in a fast-paced, growing startup environment where tasks and priorities may change frequently. Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You may be asked to contribute to additional responsibilities to support the company's overall growth and operations.
