General ManagementJob Objective:
The Logistics & Inventory Coordinatoris responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating local trucking arrangements, and ensuring timely and proper documentation of inbound and outbound stock movements. This role works closely with internal departments, warehouse teams, and local transport providers to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity within the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update WMS (e.g. GRN, GIN, DO)
• Generate Inventory and discrepancy reports and ensure timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate inbound receiving and outbound dispatch activities, ensuring proper verification of quantity and condition of goods.
• Conduct cargo check upon receipt and report any irregularity observed.
• Arrange and track local trucking for deliveries and collections.
• Liaise with warehouse staff, transport vendors, and internal departments for smooth logistics coordination.
• Works closely with operations department to resolve any inventory or delivery-related issues and support quality control efforts.
• Observe and promote safe warehouse practices and comply with security procedures.
• Assist with physical stock take and cycle count activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Process and file warehouse documentation (e.g. GRN, GIN, stock adjustments, delivery orders etc).
• Provide administrative support for warehouse operations and other related functions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in inventory or warehouse coordination.
• Minimum O'Level qualification (Diploma in Logistics or related field is advantageous)
• Familiarity with warehouse processes and documentation (e.g. GRN, GIN, DO).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handle both physical and administrative tasks.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and customer service mindset.
• Location: Tuas West, near MRT station
