Requirements

  • Minimum degree/ diploma in any discipline 
  • GI Certifications
  • At least 5-7 years GI industry
  • Has worked in General Insurance company, that is a plus

Job Descriptions

  1. Oversee the overall activity and help Distribution team deliver any activities outside the sales/underwriting environment
  2. Manage the overall activities for distribution channels according to channel budget/target
  3. Manage all training programs to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and alignment of sales strategies
  4. Work with stakeholders and develop incentive structure for business partners that are acceptable within the budget and legal and compliance framework
  5. Manage and develop business partners recruitment strategies
  6. Management of on-boarding processes and business partners
  7. Maintain knowledge of product, criteria and system developments and accurately deliver this knowledge to the relevant market
  8. Facilitate the effective ongoing relationship management with all business partners by conducting quarterly reviews and appraisal with key business partners
  9. Represent ERGO Singapore at intermediary meetings, roadshows, industry events, networking events, with a view to recruit new sales partners etc.
  10. Build and share knowledge internally and externally around trends and developments in the insurance marketplace (e.g. regulation, best practice, product developments)
  11. Forge strong partnerships with business partners through:
  • Engagement & training
  • work processes enhancements with quality product solution deliveries (online portal) in line with the Company’s overall profitable business growth strategies.

Training Management:

  • To develop a training roadmap to ensure compliance to licensing regulations (primary focus on agency) and alignment to sales strategies
  • To develop a training program, both off or online business procurement processes
  • To conduct trainings to promote ERGO's products and capabilities
  • To conduct new business partners orientation programs in terms of ERGO’s risk appetite/business online portals etc
  • Design and deliver structured meetings, presentations and comprehensive training material

Project Management

  • To participate and lead projects that have impact on Distribution
  • To take the lead in any assignments to the Department or given by Department Head.

Others

  • To oversee and extend support to team members in Distribution Operations and Support under Distribution Management in Campaign and Project Management, Portfolio Analysis and Segmentation and Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment Regulatory and Licensing, Events and Training Management and Communication
