Join Our Team as a Demi Chef/CDP/Junior Sous Chef – Japanese Cuisine!

This exceptional Japanese dining venue offers an immersive omakase experience, blending seasonal ingredients with expertly curated sake pairings. Located in a stunning black-and-white heritage bungalow near Newton MRT, the ambiance is a testament to refined Japanese craftsmanship and intimate kappo-style dining. With only 11 seats at an L-shaped hinoki wood counter, it promises a one-of-a-kind culinary journey.


Salary: $2,800 – $3,500 per month
Work Schedule: 5-day week, fixed Sundays off
Location: Newton MRT

Your Role:
As part of our culinary team, you will:

  • Perfect the preparation of raw fish, sushi rice, and other fine ingredients
  • Handle premium seafood and manage inventory like a pro
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and top-tier food quality
  • Restock and monitor ingredient supplies

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of culinary experience, ideally in Japanese cuisine or a hotel setting
  • Familiarity with food safety standards
  • Positive, "can-do" attitude
  • Flexibility for split shifts
