Food / CafeJob Description:
- Monitor production of food items to ensure compliance with prescribed recipes and specifications
- Adhere to all the standards of food presentation, production, and portioning controls
- Ensure highest quality of food items, includes ensuring all food items are in perfect sanitary condition, applying “FIFO” kitchen best practice
- Ensure all food products are stored properly in the appropriate fridges and storage containers
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas
- Ensure all colleagues clean their stations after every service
- Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to instruct this to all culinary colleagues
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in respective cuisine specialisations
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Muslim candidates to be comfortable with working in non halal kitchen
- Other allowances: night shift allowance/ OT payment if required for overtime
- 5-6 day work week (subject to assigned restaurant)
