Job Description:

  • Monitor production of food items to ensure  compliance with prescribed recipes and specifications
  • Adhere to all the standards of food presentation, production, and portioning controls
  • Ensure highest quality of food items, includes ensuring all food items are in perfect sanitary condition, applying “FIFO” kitchen best practice
  • Ensure all food products are stored properly in the appropriate fridges and storage containers
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas
  • Ensure all colleagues clean their stations after every service
  • Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to instruct this to all culinary colleagues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in respective cuisine specialisations
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work rotating shifts 
  • Muslim candidates to be comfortable with working in non halal kitchen
  • Other allowances: night shift allowance/ OT payment if required for overtime
  • 5-6 day work week (subject to assigned restaurant)
