Job Description & Requirements

Position: Sous Chef

Responsibilities: Burmese Cuisine

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage shift schedules
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist in menu planning and inventory management
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure timely delivery of food orders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and team management skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including late nights
