Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and performance of the organizational data warehouse systems. This role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing data warehouse processes, supporting ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations, and assisting users with data-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Concepts: Able to understand the data warehouse architecture and concept like dimensions and facts. Also, able to relate the data in various data models.
• Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the data warehouse environment to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• ETL Process Support: Assist in troubleshooting and debugging ETL jobs, ensuring successful data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and optimize database queries, indexes, and schema structures for better efficiency.
• User Queries: Provide technical support to users, helping them to understand the data warehouse, resolve issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• User Reports: Able to communicate with users in different business units to gather requirements. Must be proficient in writing SQL queries, Procedures, Functions to build reports for end users.
• Data Integrity & Quality: Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and ensuring consistency across different data sources.
• Security & Compliance: Follow security protocols and compliance requirements to safeguard data warehouse assets.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of data warehouse processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and improve system performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in Banking sector with Application Production support background within the Wealth Management industry.
• Unix file systems, commands, shell scripting development and trouble shooting.
• Windows systems, batch scripting development and trouble shooting.
• Oracle PL/SQL queries development and trouble shooting.
• Managing / monitoring Control-M and Tivoli/Geneos monitoring tools.
• JAVA and .NET Scripting & knowledge.
• Job Automation tool like Control-M.
• Understanding of infrastructure and different layers to fix infrastructure issues.
• Proven track record in client and/or front-office facing (from an operational point of view).
• Able to demonstrate team skills with a proven ability to communicate with clients, business, vendors, management and project team at all levels.
• VB Scripting & Excel Macro & Digital UI will be a plus.
