Our Corporate Finance team is a Southeast Asia integrated team of high calibre lead M&A advisers providing transaction-focused strategic advice to private clients, corporations, private equity funds and public market companies across the mid-market space. We advise our clients on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, investments, recapitalisations, IPOs and capital raisings.

We are seeking talented Associates to join our Southeast Asia Corporate Finance team, to be based in Singapore. Your new challenge will see you involved in:

• Lead advisory M&A with international and national blue chip clients, emerging companies and private equity firms across Southeast Asia and habitually with cross-border counterparties.

• A challenging range of transactions including acquisitions, takeovers, mergers, divestments, and capital raises

• End-to-end project management of key transaction work streams including valuation, marketing materials, due diligence, direct liaison with key client stakeholders and external vendors / bidders.

• Preparation of research, marketing materials and other key deal documents.

• Development of valuation, financial and strategic analysis.

Requirements

A successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Completed an undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials and business focus.

• Well-developed understanding of business fundamentals: strategies, operating models, functions, macroeconomics.

• Understanding of valuation, financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to develop a financial model from scratch.

• Ability to logically structure a deliverable / storyboard.

• Knowledge of appropriate tools, techniques and intellectual capital to address transaction issues.

• Understanding of, and passion for, the Southeast Asia M&A environment (public market, private company and private equity).

• Presence, poise, and appropriate level of confidence.

• Strong communications skills.

• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work well with others effectively in teams.
