The Finance Analyst reports to the Senior Finance Manager, and is responsible for driving the operational accounting, financial analysis, reporting and compliance activities. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across day-to-day critical financial accounting and analysis, treasury, and investment support to the team in liaison with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will require commercial acumen and the ability to communicate to and influence stakeholders from across the business.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated management and financial reports and variance analysis including ad-hoc requests
- Work closely and provide support to the wider finance team and other functions especially during month end and external audits and ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Conduct data-driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with both local legislation and procedures in all areas of accounting, tax, and finance operations. This includes filing of GST, transfer pricing and other submissions as required by various authorities.
- Support treasury operations in a multi-currency environment and cash management for entities in the region.
- Liaise and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including external auditors, tax agents, advisors, and partners etc.
- Input to business optimization projects, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Adherence to safety in the workplace
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience with a foundation in financial accounting (Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent). Hands on experience with SAP will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in GST, withholding tax rules and Treasury will be useful
- The individual is highly organized, efficient, and confident in managing high volume of transactions under tight deadlines. They have a strong professional pride in ensuring transactional accounting and closing processes are delivered accurately and on-time. They also possess a keen eye for detail and are results oriented and proactively highlight operational risks to management.
- They are an effective communicator that remain cool under pressure when dealing with various internal and external parties building on strong operational knowledge. They are willing to challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement.
- Confident in managing large and complex data sets in Excel and in a wider digital environment. Able to assess data, extract insights from financial and accounting software and navigate between different types of digital tools to produce results. Continuously learning new and better ways to manage and analyze data to support business outcomes.
- Strong growth mindset and high personal integrity. A team player, with a positive proactive approach to managing and solving problems. Ability to collaborate across different teams is key.
