What You'll Do

  • Manage local business and operations stakeholders
  • Utilize and hone your IT skills working with Cloud (Azure), Unix, WebSphere/Tomcat/Apache, Shell/Perl scripting, AppDynamics, Splunk/Automation Anywhere, MQ or EMS
  • Ensure production stability and availability for key operational business processes
  • Investigate and resolve incidents by identifying the impacted component, analyzing the impact and performing the right remediation measures
  • Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
  • Plan and execute BCM for applications and roll out new releases (including OS patching, certificate renewals)
  • Manage the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework: Incident and Problem Management, Change and Release Management, Risk Management

What Will Make You Shine

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of Level 2 Production support experience in a global environment
  • Hands-on experience and good knowledge of WebSphere, Linux, Cloud (Azure) and automation/application monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk/Selenium and Jenkins.
  • Highly committed, resilient and have a strong focus on accountability with a commitment to resolving issues, managing stakeholder communication, and following the appropriate escalation matrix.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
  • Able to drive service improvements (set up telemetry for early detection of incidents, fast recovery and automation of repetitive/manual tasks)
  • Able to collaborate with multiple teams as a team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technology to non-technical audiences
  • No visa sponsorship available
