North Rock is seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Equity Analyst to join our investment team in Singapore, focusing on India's cyclical sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of companies, industries, and market trends within India's cyclical sectors, including but not limited to: Industrials, Oil & Gas, Materials, Power & utilities
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators and their potential impact on Indian cyclical stocks
• Generate investment recommendations (buy, sell, hold) based on fundamental research and analysis
• Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio manager to share insights and refine investment strategies

Experience Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in equity research, with a focus on Indian markets and cyclical sectors
• Experience in L/S, sell-side, or long-only investment environments is highly desirable
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards and regulatory environment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated passion for investing and a strong track record of generating investment ideas
