AsiaOne, a leading digital content provider in Singapore, is seeking a passionate and detail-driven tech enthusiast to join our Information Technology (IT) team. This entry-level role is your gateway to hands-on technical support and IT system management. You'll be instrumental in keeping desktop systems running smoothly, assisting end-users, and managing key tools like Microsoft Intune and SharePoint. Your Mission
  • Deliver first-line technical support concerning desktop hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and deployment of desktop and computers, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Facilitate the configuration and management of Microsoft Intune for device management, enrollment, policy enforcement, and compliance monitoring.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining SharePoint sites, including user access, permissions, and basic content management.
  • Facilitate the creation and administration of Microsoft Entra accounts, encompassing the management of user profiles, permissions, and access within both cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Assist in the response to cybersecurity-related incidents that impact the end-user desktop environment, such as malware infections or unauthorised access, under the supervision of senior IT personnel.
  • Conduct asset management by tracking, updating, and maintaining inventory of IT hardware and software assets to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Document support tickets, solutions, and procedures within the IT service management system.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement software updates, apply patches, and establish security configurations.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inventory assessments on information technology equipment.
  • Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologies to contribute to process improvements.


What You Bring
  • Diploma or Higher Nitec in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field from ITE or a Polytechnic.
  • Basic understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows/macOS) and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with IT hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


Bonus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device management and configuration.
  • Experience or familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint administration or content management.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exposure to ITIL processes or service desk ticketing systems.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+ are a plus.
