Job Purpose:
Support marine insurance underwriting and renewals to ensure profitable, compliant, and timely operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review client details and prepare underwriting or renewal documents for marine cargo insurance.
• Provide quotes, draft policy documents, and coordinate with brokers and internal teams.
• Underwrite low-to-moderate risk cases following company pricing and risk guidelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and timely policy administration handover.
• Monitor market trends, claims, and prepare monthly reports for performance reviews.

Job Requirements:

• At least 7 years in marine insurance underwriting and client/broker engagement.
• Strong understanding of marine cargo products, policy terms, and risk evaluation.
• Familiar with marine-related laws, regulations, and underwriting operations.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
• Confident in managing renewals, pricing discussions, and reinsurance coordination.

The successful Marine Insurance Underwriting Specialist must possess strong technical knowledge and underwriting experience in marine cargo.
