This opportunity sits within the Private Equity firm's Emerging Leaders Program. This program is a high-impact, rotational track designed to groom future leaders across its portfolio. As part of this program, successful candidates will gain deep operational exposure and strategic insight at the portfolio level. While the initial placement will be within the business services platform, this is part of a broader initiative to build a pipeline of commercial and financial leaders who can scale with the group across other high-growth ventures, M&A opportunities, and future C-suite roles.

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced and insights-driven Commercial Analyst to join their team. The role supports commercial decision-making through performance analytics, sales enablement, pricing analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to strategic initiatives and driving business impact.

• Performance and analytics reporting to support sales and commercial functions.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy planning by providing data insights on customer segments, market trends, and channel performance.
• Enable sales optimization through data-driven insights and tools.
• Conduct pricing and deal analytics to improve profitability.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to implement commercial strategies.
• Support change management and technology adoption across commercial teams.
• Support commercial strategy through market and competitor analysis.
• Build dashboards and reports that visualize KPIs for sales and marketing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with finance and product teams to align pricing models with customer value.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities through data insights.
• Drive continuous improvement by standardizing reporting and analytics practices.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience within a Commercial or Business Analyst position.
• Big 4 experience is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in Power BI, HubSpot, and other advanced data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with AI applications is highly advantageous.
• Experience in pricing analysis, deal structuring, and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and business partnering skills.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous for engaging with stakeholders across global markets, particularly in regions such as China.
