Contractual Pricing Analyst

As HP business continues to shift from a transactional sales motion to a much stronger mix of contractual sales, our need to understand the MPS competitive market and system-level pricing strategies is key for success in contractual growth. This role will require a strong background in business analytics as well as leadership potential, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence contractual pricing strategies and key business decisions.

What a Contractual Pricing Analyst does in HP:
- Partnering with Marketing, Finance, R&D, COE, Category teams and others to improve HP's position in the market for TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), OCPP (Operational Cost per Page) & SCPP (Service Cost per Page).
- Working with PBMs, BDMs, and other channel-focused business partners to expand our knowledge of pricing strategies in contractual.
- Responsible for designing and managing benchmark analytics for new product introductions (NPI), supporting in pricing negotiations.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to work closely and collaboratively with a variety of global teams.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Data Analytics or related field.
- 3+ years experience in LaserJet technology with demonstrated understanding of contractual market.
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, SQL, or Python and familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Excellent Data Analytics Skills.
- Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle (PLC).
- Flexibility to work across time zones.
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, consulting, influence and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to design reports and updates with little direction from management.
- Project/Program Management experience desired.
