Your role :

We're looking for a GWM Risk Governance and Assessment Specialist to:

• become part of the GWM Business Risk hub in Singapore, acting as divisional SME for GWM globally

• be a key advisor for a portfolio of tasks relating to non-financial risk related topics with a focus on conflicts of interest, NFR events and controls

• support region-aligned framework developments requiring local interactions in Singapore and the APAC region

• develop and drive implementation of simplification and enhancements of risk frameworks and mandates for the benefit of the GWM organization

• identify, evaluate and execute risk mitigation, proactively formulate coherent solutions

• collaborate closely with our global Business Risk Function as well as Compliance and other internal units

Your team :

You will work in a Singapore hub of the divisional GWM Business Risk Function (BRF) with colleagues located in other BRF hubs (Zurich, Wroclaw) responsible for risk governance and assessment topics. As part of the global GWM Business Risk team, you will closely collaborate with risk managers, business managers, compliance and other functions across the globe.

Your expertise :

• a university degree with prior experience in the non-financial risk frameworks and financial services industry, preferably in GWM business, compliance, and / or risk management

• a genuine interest in non-financial risk management

• excellent business communication in English language, influencing and presentation skills

• sound judgement and ability to operate independently and objectively

• gravitas to build relationships and working collaboratively across functions

• always looking for ways to innovate to make the team experience a positive and engaged one

• collaborative personality with a business and risk mind-set

• organized with a sense for details which matters yet pragmatic and able to work under pressure

• high level of self-motivation, willingness to learn and resilience
