Requirements
• 2-3 years of work experience, big 4 accounting firm and private experience preferred.
• Real Estate background.
• Strong analytical, communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure.
Principal Responsibilities
Oversee the financial reporting and operations of our Asia investments including our new Singapore based platform. Responsibilities include the following:
• Oversight of the Singapore based third party administrator for all day to day operational matters and financial reporting. Including ensuring that the local deal team and NY team instructions are being followed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Communication with the joint venture operating partners and local TPG AG deal team on a regular basis via telephone, email and meetings.
• Assist and coordinate with the joint venture operating partners/administrator in establishing a reporting process that meets TPG AG's requirements and monitor this on an ongoing basis.
• Monitor compliance with the financial terms of the operating agreements (approvals, cash controls/signing limits, budget process, reporting, etc).
• Review all property financial reports including a detailed financial statement review, reconciliation of partners' capital accounts and cash activity/reconciliation.
• Prepare management accounts for our investment holding companies, including simple consolidation.
• Oversight of all year-end audit and tax work, as well as any local statutory audit and tax filings.
• Oversight of all bank account openings/maintenance and funding/payments throughout the investment structures.
• Monitor existing policies are consistently being followed and applied including the cash/banking policy.
Monthly and annual reporting to NY office including:
• Estimated P&L for all investments on a monthly basis.
• Investment cap splits on a quarterly basis. Ensure recording of adjustments to convert local GAAP books to US GAAP.
• Detailed cash flow records for each investment detailing all equity and internal debt cash flows by investment, by legal entity, by partner in both local currency and US dollars.
• Assist with any ad-hoc reporting requests from the local deal team and the NY office.
