The Fund Investment Team of Decent Capital is engaged in managing alternative assets, mainly in global VCPE funds/Hedge funds and Real Estate funds. We have professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, with the belief in fundamental investing.

Now we are looking for 0-2 new Fund Investment Analyst covering Hege Fund / Property Fund assets. This position is mainly based in Singapore.

Position Description

The analyst's primary goal is to help Decent Capital own the best performing Hedge Funds/Property Funds to ensure strong performance in the fund portfolio. To accomplish this goal, the analyst is required to demonstrate analytical capacity in determining asset quality as well as a certain ability to source high potential pipelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Ground research to apply macro view on different markets, fundamental research to potential sectors. Working with the team Director for assets mapping and classification.
• Conduct routine updates for existing portfolio funds by return contribution analysis, risk shifting check and periodical strategy review
• Conduct due diligence on pipeline funds by historical performance analysis, peer comparison, GP interviews and reference checks.
• Collaborate with colleagues globally.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English and business level of Mandarin speaking and written as need to liaise with China counterparts
• BA/BS degree from top universities and related full time or intern experience in Finance industry,or a scientific background especially in Biotech (suites for Hedge Fund Analyst) exposure aplus
• Highly motivated, confident self-starter and calculated risk-taker with the ability to workindependently and with others
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics which canbe additive to the investment process
