Role Description

Responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis and research to support investment decisions. Key tasks include evaluating investment opportunities across various asset classes, developing financial models to forecast performance, and monitoring market trends. The analyst will work closely with the CIO team to create investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough analysis of investment products, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, alternative investments, FX and structured products.
2. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the performance and risks of investment portfolios.
3. Manage investment operations such as trade placement, pricing of structured products and monitoring of margin
4. Ensure funding availability for trade settlements and accurate pricing of products
5. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to inform investment strategies.
6. Prepare in-depth reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders to communicate investment performance and recommendations.
7. Assist in the development of asset allocation strategies tailored to individual client needs and risk profiles.
8. Collaborate with the investment team to identify potential investment opportunities and assess their alignment with client objectives.
9. Participate in client meetings to present findings and investment strategies, providing insights into market conditions and portfolio performance.

Requirements

1. Up to 5 years of experience in investment analysis, asset management, or a related financial role.
2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial markets and investment products.
3. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
4. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg).
5. Fluency in Mandarin to cover North Asia/Greater China client segments
6. CFA or progress toward CFA designation is highly desirable.
7. Excel coding skills will be a plus
