We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our client's dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a solid background in accounting and a strong interest in financial analytics.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full set of accounting records, financial reporting, and tax compliance, while also playing a strategic role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will lead and mentor a small team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and contribute valuable financial insights to drive business performance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of financial processes, have hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, and demonstrate a proactive, analytical mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Accounting:
  • Review/ manage and maintain full sets of books using Microsoft Dynamics ERP, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable modules.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team to ensure timely, accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and implement effective internal controls.
  • Review intercompany transactions, general ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

Financial Analytics & Reporting:
  • Work closely with business units to deliver actionable financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors by preparing accurate financial documentation and managing inquiries.

Accounts Payable Management:
  • Supervise accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments.
  • Review and approve invoices in line with internal policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on outstanding payments.

Cash Management:
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and preparation of cash flow reports.
  • Monitor daily liquidity to ensure operational needs are met.

Tax Compliance & Filing:
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, including quarterly GST.
  • Liaise with tax agents for Estimated Chargeable Income and Corporate Tax computations.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCCA
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) membership is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in audit or within project-centric/construction-related industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, or SAP Business One.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent time management and a high sense of responsibility.


GOOD TO HAVE
  • Experience in managing external audits and working closely with auditors.
  • Familiarity with local tax laws and hands-on experience in GST reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insights from complex financial data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in project management and financial planning within project-based environments.
