Our Client is a global distributor of industrial and electronic components serving customers in automation,

manufacturing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a highly analytical Pricing Manager to play a critical role in developing and implementing

pricing strategies within the assigned markets.

• Create and implement a detailed pricing strategy for our range of products within a specific area;
• Build and maintain data on pricing tiers and trends for different customer groups across various sales channels;
• Manage the yearly online pricing updates by regularly gathering market price data to ensure our prices stay competitive;
• Work closely with the local business team to create and carry out unique pricing strategies, regularly reviewing and approving pricing recommendations;
• Support marketing efforts by suggesting appropriate promotional pricing for specific customers or products and evaluating the success of these promotional prices;
• Apply industry best practices for setting prices on a day-to-day basis;
• Examine how changes in material costs, shipping fees, and taxes, as well as the overall market environment, affect prices and devise strategies to protect profit margins;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for explaining the pricing process to all departments and provide training on pricing policies and tools when needed;
• Lead monthly pricing strategy meetings with the regional team.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar capacity for relevant products and industries would be an advantage;
• Good analytical skills, with experience in analysing big data;
• Good problem-solving skills, with a sense of initiative;
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional, geographically-distributed team;
• Good communication skills in English, as well as a regional language in order to work with stakeholders in the assigned region.
