The Opportunity:
The IT Business Partner (Shipping) position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group's CIO. Our team currently comprises of over 40 IT, software, and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai, Singapore, and Moerdijk (the Netherlands). With our IT presence in Singapore rapidly expanding, we are excited to invite you to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
Shipping Business Requirements Management:
Conduct in-depth analysis of Shipping business needs and translate them into scalable IT solutions.
Continuously optimize business processes to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Shipping Systems Optimization:
Based on business scenario research and continuous iteration of system functions, optimize process design and functional support.
Ensure that the system can promptly respond to new or optimized business requirements.
Shipping System Maintenance:
Ensure the smooth operation of core business systems (e.g., IMOS/DNV).
Standardize data operation procedures, effectively resolve cross-system interface issues, maintain business continuity and data accuracy.
Support the upgrade and maintenance of ship and shore-based business systems.
Special Projects Involvement:
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of other shipping business system projects.
Cover key stages including blueprint design, documentation, system configuration, testing, user training, and pre-go live preparations.
Promote standardization in system development and user operation management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for majors in Computer Science & Technology, Information Technology, Logistics Management, Shipping, or related fields.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in IT management or system implementation.
- Preference with prior experience in maritime/shipping or logistics industries.
- PMP or Agile certifications are preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility, results-oriented, and dedicated to work.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is highly desirable to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts, understanding their technical requirements.
