ViswaLab is a pioneer in marine fuel oil and lube oil testing. We are currently looking for a candidate to join our team for lube oil testing analysts.

Job Description:

• Conduct routine sample tests of lube oil
• Practice good housekeeping to ensure the work area and surrounding is kept clean.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste as defined in the Hazardous Waste Plan
• Verify and keep proper documentations once samples are received and opened
• Coordinate receipt and registration of samples in the LIMS software in a timely manner to be processed for testing without delay
• Report any equipment problem, calibration issues, or difficult samples
• Check equipment readiness for assigned test method, carry out QC test as needed and enter result in the SQC system.
• Homogenize sample and subdivide for various tests conducted
• Data entry of test results in datasheet or in LIMS
• Ensure all Safety and Health policies, test procedures are followed while carrying out test
• Make request for solvent, chemical top up, retrieval of sample from storage through Sample Management System
• Prepare and number test tubes, test jars required for the tests
• Oversee sample homogenization process
• Any other ad hoc duties

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Applied Chemistry or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in working in a chemistry lab
• Experience in Lube Oil testing is an added advantage
• Fresher can apply. Training is provided
• Able to start immeidately
