About Our Client

My client is Global Real Estate Owner who operates hyper-scale digital infrastructure assets, specialising in providing data centre environments for leading technology companies.

Job Description

As a Cost & Contract Specialist, you will assist the team by

• Ensuring internal policies and procedures for construction contracts and consultancy service agreements are applied effectively and consistently.
• You will support project teams on contract matters, procurement strategies, and tendering procedures, liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers, and maintain a registry of these approved providers.
• Additionally, you will advise on construction costs, tender indices, market trends, and cost risks, maintain a development cost database, and provide regular cost reports.
• You will also execute the procurement of provisional sum items, provide construction cost input for feasibility studies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, update project cost information, and safeguard contract documents and drawings.
• Other duties include performing tasks as assigned or instructed.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience as a quantity surveyor, with data centre project experience
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong understanding of building services and the data centre project life-cycle.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Capable of working independently, with a meticulous, analytical, and proactive approach, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
