Job description: 

This job involves coordinating monthly financial reporting and analysis for operational spending and supporting the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and cost center managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly/Quarterly Financial Analysis: Reviewing non-costing P/L variances, proposing adjustments to costs, and ensuring accurate intercompany allocations.
• Reporting: Preparing monthly and quarterly Profit and Loss reviews and financial reports.
• Business Partnering: Acting as a financial advisor to non-core departments (e.g., Site Leadership, HR, EHS) to address ad-hoc queries and provide detailed spending analysis.
• System Expertise: Serving as a subject matter expert for the Jedox Planning and Forecast system and optimizing processes for budgeting, forecasting, and spending.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving process improvements, including accruals and financial literacy training for the site.
• Reconciliation: Managing AP-clearing accounts, adjusting accruals, and coordinating settlements for spending adjustments.
• Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external financial audits, particularly for spending variance and P&L analysis.
• Liaison: Coordinating with GBS teams for invoicing, intercompany billing, and annual government surveys. The role also includes responsibilities related to financial controls, forecasting accuracy, and supporting operational efficiency initiatives across the site.

Job requirements:

• Relevant experience in MNC / SAP-accounting environment, with equivalent position held preferred.
• Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
