Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for SG IBGO NCA product cost allocation matters
• Be the subject matter expert in SG IBGO NCA computation methodologies, cost attribution and its underlying drivers, data sources, assumptions and dependencies for products across the 5 operation functions within SG IBGO
• Work with Regional IBGO, Group Finance and Business to analyse and generate actionable profitability/productivity insights to support business decisions
• Work with Regional IBGO, Group Finance and Business to resolve issues regarding exceptions or anomalies arising from Ops NCA data through independent deep-dive analyses
• Support Regional COO Finance team in their regionalisation project to implement governance and consistency of Group IBGO NCA
• Drive quarterly NCA updates to the SG IBGO Management, including but not limited to insights on key unit cost movements and any thematic updates
• Drive annual SG IBGO MTK-PV mapping refresh exercise for all product cost allocation. Responsibilities include data extraction/cleansing/transformation, checks/reconciliation, preparation of excel and slide decks to review with SG IBGO Management for approval, and submission to Group Finance with follow up on any significant swing of allocation % across products
• Document NCA methodology, assumptions and dependencies by product for each operation function
• Support monthly SG IBGO MTK, Strategic Cost Management (SCM), Financial and Headcount Review, including but not limited to headcount projection and SCM status update.
• Responsibilities include data extraction/cleansing/transformation, checks/reconciliations, and preparation of tables/charts/commentaries in slide decks
• Support annual budget planning exercise through analysis and storyboarding, including but not limited to unit cost comparison analysis, volume growth analysis etc
• Collate, prepare, and circulate weekly Volume, MTK, OT and Risk & Control report with commentaries/highlights to SG IBGO Management
• Collate, prepare, and circulate monthly function-level volume reports to function heads
• Support SG IBGO biweekly hiring status tracking and reporting. Responsibilities include update of hiring status, data reconciliation, and circulation of email report
• Support the Central Business Events team in supporting IBGO's business event creation, with scope including but not limited to pre-processing (verify scenario in whitelist), processing & post-processing support. Additionally, to support process refinement and SOP updates, Ops usage tracking for management oversight

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience in banking/financial services working with data-driven processes. business analytics involving large datasets and dashboards, and strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement preferred.
• Able to analyse and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment where information may not be incomplete and may require deep-diving and self-discovery
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Tableau dashboard is a plus
• A team player who is willing to support team members on ad-hoc tasks
• Flexibility, resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks where required
• Strong communication, presentation and written skills
