Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for conducting financial and commercial analysis of the business to support business decision making and profitability plans to maximise revenue and margins. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide support to Profit and Loss management with GM and cost-controlling measures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and provide meaningful business analysis and reports, including profitability of products/stores, discount and margin, promotion effectiveness, internal and external tracking and other key developments
• Organise and analyse data from available data sources to review business performance, trends analysis, cost management and highlight opportunities that will help in improving margins and reduce cost
• To take responsibility for all regular report generation such as inventory aging and provision, stocks report, staff product purchase report, import GST cashflow forecast and value of expiring products summary
• Update, reconcile and review correct pricing for all products in SAP and internal staff purchase portal
• Process all credit notes in SAP and resolve any discrepancies
• Review and submit for approval when AR credit limit aging exceeds
• Assist in updating of land cost and inventory revaluation
• Any other ad hoc reporting requested by the management or HQ

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business or a related discipline
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and application of financial/accounting principles and budgetary management
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
• Conduct all activities with the highest of integrity, attention to detail and diligence
• A hands-on team player
• Resourceful and creative in problem solving with the can-do attitude
• Experience with using SAP system will have added advantage

• 5 days’ work week, Mon to Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
