Senior Analyst - Technology
Role Overview
The Senior Analyst is responsible for leading proprietary equity research across global technology sectors. The role demands strong technical fluency and supply chain expertise, translating complex industry dynamics into actionable investment insights across the full market cap spectrum and multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including bottoms-up revenue builds, DCF, and scenario analysis for technology companies across hardware, software, and adjacent verticals
- Conduct deep primary research through management engagement, industry expert calls, supply chain channel checks, and site visits to build differentiated, non-consensus views
- Map and monitor critical technology supply chains to identify emerging investment opportunities and risks ahead of consensus
- Lead earnings call preparation and real-time analysis for portfolio holdings and watchlist names across US, Asia-Pacific, and European markets
- Deploy and integrate cutting-edge AI tools and large language models to automate research workflows including transcript analysis, financial data extraction, document summarization, and pattern recognition across large datasets
- Build and maintain proprietary research databases and automation pipelines to enhance the speed and depth of fundamental analysis
- Present high-conviction investment recommendations with clearly defined risk/reward frameworks to the Portfolio Manager and investment team
- Monitor macro and regulatory developments affecting global technology supply chains and end markets
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related role within the technology sector
- Deep domain knowledge across technology sub-sectors with the ability to engage technically with company management and industry specialists
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI/ML research tools, LLMs, and automation frameworks for investment research workflows
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets and experience with large, multi-scenario models
- Ability to operate independently across time zones, managing a full coverage universe with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English required; Mandarin or other Asian languages a plus to be able to cover East Asian markets
- Experience covering Asia-listed technology names strongly preferred
