Job Description

• Support the execution of financing transactions across the energy, new energy, renewables, infrastructure, and transportation sectors, covering the full lifecycle from origination to drawdown

• Perform transaction structuring and financial modelling, including development of financial models and sensitivity analyses for client and lender assessment

• Conduct due diligence and prepare financing and loan documentation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders

• Prepare and present credit applications to the internal Credit Committee and manage the credit approval process with the Credit Department and back office

• Assist in sourcing and originating new financing opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and preparation of proposals and pitchbooks

• Manage and monitor loan portfolios throughout the transaction life cycle, including ongoing relationship management

• Support client onboarding activities by providing guidance on KYC and internal onboarding requirements

• Oversee post-execution transaction management, including monitoring covenant compliance and processing waivers, amendments, and special credit requests

• Ensure adherence to external regulatory requirements and internal policies, proactively escalating operational or risk issues to management as required

• Review, comment on, and support execution of financing documentation and facility agreements

• Administer loan processing and closing for all loan products, ensuring all conditions precedent are satisfied prior to borrower requests, drawdowns, or repayments

• Handle day-to-day syndicated loan administration, including drawdowns, rollovers, rate setting, billing, prepayments, fee calculations, payments, and document safekeeping

• Liaise with sponsors, legal counsel, technical, tax, and financial advisers throughout due diligence and documentation phases of project finance transactions

• Conduct ad hoc research and financial analysis to support new business initiatives and portfolio management

• Collaborate closely with team members across the Bank and undertake additional projects or responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; CFA qualification is an advantage

• Strong financial modelling expertise, with hands-on experience in structuring and building complex financial models

• Minimum of 3 years' financial analysis, credit analysis, financial modelling experience in structured finance and/or corporate finance

• Solid understanding of the full project finance lifecycle, including structuring, bidding, due diligence, documentation, financial close, and waiver requests

• Knowledge of credit evaluation processes, loan accounting, and related policies

• Collaborative and positive team player with strong stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and provide leadership when required

• Highly motivated self-starter with a fast learning curve and the ability to think independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel, including macros and VBA

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
