Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Analyst with deep expertise in semiconductor technology and operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of leading semiconductor manufacturers such as TSMC, Samsung, Hynix, and Micron, and be capable of analyzing detailed technology processes, operational strategies, and yield improvement methodologies. This role focuses on providing actionable insights into advanced semiconductor technologies, process flows, and capacity optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of semiconductor technologies and operational processes of leading companies including TSMC, Samsung, Hynix, and Micron.
• Understand and document step-by-step manufacturing processes, e.g., proving yield of HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) stacking.
• Monitor and evaluate the latest technological developments and emerging semiconductor trends.
• Analyze TSMC CoWoS (Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate) capacity allocation and logic, identifying operational bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Develop strategies to improve CoWoS yield, operational efficiency, and adoption of new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that influence investment, production, and R&D decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience analyzing semiconductor manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus in order to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of TSMC, Samsung, Hynix, and Micron technologies, including packaging, wafer fabrication, and advanced memory technologies.
• Experience with HBM stacking, CoWoS, 3D packaging, and yield improvement methodologies is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations.
