Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Controller-level finance professional with a strong background in corporate finance and project financing to support our Singapore and Indonesia projects.This role will be responsible for financial structuring, project funding, financial control, and cross-border coordination. The position requires frequent travel to Bintan, Indonesia, and close collaboration with regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance & Project Financing

• Lead and manage project financing activities for SG and Indonesia projects (including feasibility studies, financial modeling, funding structures).
• Prepare and review financial models, investment proposals, and project cash flow forecasts.
• Work with banks, financial institutions investors, and advisors on debt financing, refinancing, and funding negotiations.
• Support M&A, joint ventures, or new project evaluations when required.

Financial Control & Reporting

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for regional projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting and analysis for senior management.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations in Singapore and Indonesia.

Cross-Border & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key finance partner to business, operations, and project teams in SG and Indonesia.
• Liaise with local finance teams, external consultants, auditors, and regulators.
• Support senior management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience in corporate finance and project financing.
• Proven experience working with banks and lenders, and external financiers.
• Prior exposure to Indonesia or Southeast Asia projects is highly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of cross-border finance, taxation, and regulatory environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable with frequent travel to Bintan, Indonesia.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate with regional and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
