We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Business Analyst to join our banking client. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in requirement gathering, functional specification design, and solution delivery for finance and regulatory reporting systems. This role demands strong domain expertise in finance / accounting , excellent stakeholder management, and proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements.

Roles :

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with finance stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements for finance applications and reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure accurate solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Act as the bridge between finance users and IT delivery teams, ensuring clarity and completeness of requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Support UAT planning and execution, validating solutions against business requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise in finance processes, accounting standards, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with banking industry regulations (e.g., MAS, Basel, IFRS) and internal governance standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis and documentation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to senior stakeholders and project committees.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline; professional certifications
• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance role with min 5 years as a Business Analyst in the banking/financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, accounting principles, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proven expertise in requirement gathering, functional specification writing, and solution validation.
• Hands-on experience with finance systems, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
