Mentorship & Development
- Develop, calibrate, and validate detailed energy models for buildings, campuses, and/or energy systems using industry-standard tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES-VE, Design builder).
- Conduct modeling to support high-performance design, code compliance (ASHRAE 90.1), green building certifications (Green Mark, LEED, Green Star, BREEAM), and incentive programs.
- Analyze HVAC system performance, envelope strategies, renewables integration, and decarbonization pathways.
Technical Leadership
- Establish modeling standards, workflows, QA/QC procedures, and documentation protocols.
- Lead scoping, planning, and execution of complex modeling tasks across multiple projects.
- Keep current with new modeling technologies, energy codes, decarbonization strategies, and simulation techniques.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Present energy modeling results to project teams, clients, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, sustainability consultants, and project managers to inform design decisions.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams regarding energy codes, performance targets, and modeling implications.
Mentorship & Development
- Train and support junior modelers in software proficiency, methodology, and analysis best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to internal capability building.
