Responsibilities:

• Generate investment ideas and makes buy, sell or hold recommendation to Portfolio Manager, with a focus on the Asian equities
• Perform deep analysis of key investment thesis, risk factors, stock valuation of investment recommendation within a short time frame for inclusion in portfolio
• Provide timely update of financial and valuation models and update on news flow, industry and regulatory changes that impact stocks under coverage
• Adherence to investment philosophy and implementation of investment process
• Analysis of key macro and micro trends affecting corporates in various sectors
• Develop or provide input to quantitative solutions such as stock screening and back testing; and financial modelling and asset allocation tools when requires
• Maintenance of stock databases and stock report
• Assist Portfolio Manager in fund marketing, portfolio risk management, performance review or providing inputs for such reports or marketing materials
• Other assigned adhoc projects.

Requirements:

• University Degree in any discipline with strong academic results
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in China equities preferred
• Meticulous, with an eye for detail and able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Hard worker and "start-up" mentality is a must
• Proficiency in Chinese language is preferred as substantial communication with our Head Office would be in Chinese
