We are currently working with a global independent research firm focused on the semiconductor supply chain, AI infrastructure, and related technologies. They publish frequent in-depth industry reports, run detailed models (on hardware demand, datacenter supply/demand, cost-of-ownership, etc.), and advise institutional clients - including major cloud providers, investment funds, and corporates.

Role Overview

As a Research Analyst based in Singapore, you will play a key role in developing, updating, and publishing our industry-level models. You will work closely with senior research leadership to build new models, maintain existing ones, and contribute to high-impact reports and analysis. In addition to the modeling work, you will help produce public-facing newsletters and may represent the firm at industry conferences, especially across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

\t• \tPerform detailed financial and quantitative analysis to support our industry models, research products, consulting projects, and client deliverables.

\t• \tConduct in-depth industry research covering semiconductor supply chain dynamics, AI-infrastructure trends, market shifts, and competitive landscapes.

\t• \tMonitor relevant corporate earnings, news releases, and technological developments, and incorporate these into reports and model updates.

\t• \tDraft research reports, presentations, and newsletters, summarizing insights in a clear, structured, and impactful manner to reach both technical and non-technical audiences.

\t• \tCollaborate with cross-functional team members globally, and potentially participate in conferences or external events representing the firm.

Candidate Profile / Required Qualifications

\t• \tUndergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

\t• \t1-5 years of prior experience in equities research, investment banking, buy-side, or a related analytical role.

\t• \tFamiliarity with financial modelling (especially three-statement modelling) and strong proficiency with Excel.

\t• \tStrong research skills, ability to synthesize information across multiple sources, and to draw actionable insights from complex data.

\t• \tExcellent written and verbal communication skills - able to explain complex technological or market dynamics clearly and effectively.

\t• \tSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently within a fast-paced and globally-distributed team.

\t• \tA genuine interest in semiconductors, AI infrastructure, and emerging technology trends; prior exposure or knowledge of the semiconductor supply chain is a strong plus.

\t• \tProficiency in English (additional languages a plus), comfortable working in an international environment.
