What you'll do:

As an Analyst based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team's efforts by delivering tailored market solutions that meet client objectives across local and regional markets. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing a variety of tasks ranging from data analysis to trade execution, all while collaborating closely with stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues from diverse backgrounds who are eager to share their expertise on FX and Derivatives. By partnering with relationship managers throughout the region, you will help maximise cross-sell opportunities for clients' cross-border exposures. In addition to supporting product-related projects and implementation efforts, you will also be responsible for booking transactions accurately and preparing essential documentation. Your commitment to monitoring transaction risks and maintaining compliance will be crucial in ensuring operational excellence.   • Support the sales team in delivery of relevant market solutions to customers to meet client value and pre-defined KPI targets locally and regionally.
  • Manage day to day tasks, including data analysis, sales proposal preparation, pricing, trade execution and deal input
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to seek solutions deal opportunities and to deliver a high quality of service.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and product partners across the region to deliver an integrated service for our customers, as well as to share knowledge on FX and Derivatives.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers across the region to maximise cross-sell opportunities on all facets of the clients' cross-border exposure.
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to assess new Global Markets products and seek advice on the impact to Bank's policies and regulatory requirements, as well as to provide input into cross border matrix to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Contribute to product related projects and support the implementation.
  • Responsible for booking transactions including but not limited to FX and Derivatives.
  • Provide support into deals to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy.
  • Prepare presentation materials, reports and other documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits, monitor day to day transaction risks.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

What you bring:

To excel as an Analyst in this organisation, you will bring proven experience from either banking or finance sectors or demonstrate a keen willingness to learn if you are a recent graduate. Your technical skills should include proficiency in widely used market IT systems like Bloomberg or Refinitiv along with advanced capabilities in MS Office applications-particularly PowerPoint and Excel-which will enable you to manage data efficiently. Experience or interest in VBA programming would further enhance your ability to automate routine tasks. Your understanding of industry trends combined with awareness of competitor activity will allow you to contribute meaningfully during sales proposal preparation. Strong interpersonal abilities are vital; your communication skills must enable you not only to influence outcomes but also foster positive relationships within multicultural teams. Your commitment to maintaining compliance standards alongside your analytical acumen will set you apart as a dependable member of the team.
  • Degree qualified is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in Banking/Finance. Fresh graduate is also welcome.
  • Market related IT system experience also highly appreciated i.e. Bloomberg, Refinitiv
  • Adept at MS Office PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in VBA would be a plus.
  • Good relevant industry experience and knowledge of competitor landscape.
  • Good communication skills with ability to influence others and sell products
  • Business proficiency in Japanese as the individual will liaise with clients who speak Japanese. Minimum JLPT N1 certification (or equivalent language capabilities/proficiency) is required.
