Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Oversee all finance operations for SEA, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and firm policies.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with global objectives. Partner with senior stakeholders on business planning and pricing strategies.
• Performance Management: Drive financial performance through insightful analysis, variance reviews, and profitability assessments.
• Finance Operations: Manage month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial statements for audit and statutory filings. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or related field; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
• Experience: At least 10 years in finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing a sizeable team. Prior experience in a professional services environment is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and compliance; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; SAP knowledge advantageous.
• Attributes: Diplomatic, commercially astute, hands-on, and able to influence senior stakeholders. Calm under pressure, culturally sensitive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
