Role Purpose

The Manager, APAC IFS Pricing will lead the regional pricing desk for International Freight Services (IFS), ensuring competitive, accurate, and timely pricing solutions for APAC tradelanes. This role is critical to supporting IFS growth strategy, margin optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• \tPricing Leadership

o\tManage APAC IFS Pricing Desk operations, including RFQs, spot quotations, and premium proposals for FCL/LCL shipments.

o\tDevelop and implement pricing strategies aligned with global procurement and commercial objectives.

• \tProcess & Compliance

o\tEnsure adherence to FMC filing requirements and internal SOPs for rate management.

o\tOversee CargoWise integration for automated workflows and pricing database standardization.

• \tCollaboration

o\tWork closely with Asia Commercial Team (ACT), procurement, and operations to deliver competitive pricing and maintain SLA compliance.

o\tProvide market insights and pricing trends to support tenders and strategic bids.

• \tGovernance & Reporting

o\tMonitor contribution margins, validate buy/sell rates, and ensure accurate data integrity.

o\tPrepare monthly performance reports and pricing analytics for leadership review.

Qualifications

• \tBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

• \tMinimum 7 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or procurement, with strong exposure to Intra-Asia tradelanes (preferred).

• \tAt least 3 years in a managerial role leading pricing or procurement teams.

• \tStrong knowledge of ocean freight pricing, RFQ processes, and regulatory compliance.

• \tProficiency in pricing tools and systems (e.g., CargoWise, Cargosphere).

• \tExcellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
