The role supports the FX team with main focus on FX execution support and marketing services to Client Relationship Officers (CROs) / clients. Coaches and provides support to team members when needed. Attentive to potential risk and assist team head to keep updated with the change in market movements. Work on system development projects to improve the FX infrastructure.

Key roles & responsibilities

• Provide execution support on FX and FX products
• Contribute to content production and trade ideas to be distributed internally to CROs and Investment & Client Solutions colleagues
• Act as a key member of the team to improve the processes and dealing efficiency for the FX desk. The individual will take a key role for some projects that will involve better processes for the FX team
• Have a good understanding of market and counterpart risk faced by the bank. and ensure the trading desk performs activity within those limits

Role requirement

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in FX area and/or Treasury, ideally within a bank or financial institutions
• Good understanding of FX products (spots, forwards, swaps and basic options)
• Strong grasp of market fundamentals, macroeconomic drives and trading concepts
• Familiarity with trading systems
• Numerate, analytical and comfortable working under pressure in fast-moving market conditions
• Good judgement and problem solving skills
