SCHONFELD STRATEGIC ADVISORS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.
Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is expanding our Discretionary Macro Fixed Income (DMFI) team and seeks a hands-on analyst to design and implement an analytics framework that enhances the portfolio manager's FX spot and options trading process.
You will sit on the trading floor in Singapore and report directly to a Senior PM, collaborating with traders, risk, data engineering and technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain pricing, risk, and scenario tools for G10 & EM FX spot, forwards and options (vanilla & exotics)
• Design systematic dashboards for PnL attribution, Greeks, vol surfaces, carry/roll, and cross-asset factor mapping
• Automate data pipelines (market data, vol curves, macro releases) and ensure high-availability intraday refreshes
• Back-test trade ideas and hedging strategies; present analytical insights to the PM for sizing and risk management
• Partner with core tech to productionise code, enforce testing, documentation and version control standards
• Support live trading-triage model exceptions, latency issues, and contribute to end-of-day reconciliation checks
Required Qualifications
• 3-7 years in FX, Rates, or cross-asset derivative analytics at a hedge fund, bank, or trading firm
• Strong quantitative background; Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
• Expert Python (NumPy/Pandas), plus familiarity with kdb+/q or C++ for low-latency components
• In-depth understanding of Black-Scholes, local/ stochastic vol models, smile construction, and risk measures (Delta, Vega, Vanna, Volga, DV01, CS01)
• Experience integrating vendor feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE, TradeWeb) and orchestrating jobs via Airflow or similar
