We're Building the Future of Capital Markets; enabling entrepreneurship,
job creation, financial inclusion, and economic resilience

As Asia's leading securities brokerage, regulated exchange and fund management platform for alternative investments, Alta is at the forefront of building critical capital market infrastructure. We believe that access to capital markets are pivotal in all economies, we recognize that our role in building this critical infrastructure goes beyond facilitating trades; it paves the way for entrepreneurship, job creation, financial inclusion, and economic resilience, fostering a brighter future for emerging markets and economies.

Empowering Private Markets: Through our Digital Exchange, we enable the tokenization and digital custody of alternative assets. This end-to-end solution simplifies and expedites the trading of smaller asset blocks, ultimately facilitating access and liquidity in private markets.

Innovative Financial Ecosystem: Our journey has seen us transition from securities trading and distribution of comprehensive products, including equities, private credit, funds, and asset-backed securities ("ABS") (representing Real World Assets ("RWA") like whiskies, wines, art, watches, and real estate) to include fund management and digital custody services.

Established in 2016 and headquartered in Singapore, Alta operates offices globally. We welcome energetic and creative individuals to be part of this ambitious journey with us.

About The Role

In this operationally rich, high-growth environment, the Fund Management team plays a pivotal role in enabling our clients to scale efficiently, maintain regulatory compliance, enable digital listing and secondary trading, and ensure robust fund operations.

As a Fund Management Analyst at Alta, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle of alternative-asset funds and vehicles. You will work closely with fund structuring, operations, investor servicing and listing teams to ensure that funds are set up, administered and operated effectively - from launch through to investor reporting, regulatory compliance and eventual exit or listing.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

  • Assist with the structuring and incorporation of fund vehicles (e.g., VCCs, SPVs, feeder funds) including liaising with legal, tax, corporate services and regulatory advisers.
  • Drive corporate action processes: capital calls, investor onboarding, subscriptions/redemptions, NAV calculation co-ordination, distributions.
  • Support investor servicing and reporting: prepare investor letters, annual financial statements, audit coordination, regulatory filings
  • Coordinate with internal/external custodians, administrators, transfer agents, and our tokenisation/exchange platform to ensure fund-assets are correctly registered, tokenised and tradable.
  • Support secondary market operations: assist in tracking liquidity pools, investor transfers, compliance checks, and segment-specific documentation.
  • Help maintain internal fund-services templates, trackers and operating procedures (e.g., fund launch checklists, investor KYC/AML trackers, fee schedules, NAV spreadsheets).
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry best-practices relevant to alternative-asset fund operations; work with the team to update SOPs and fund-services offerings accordingly.
  • Participate in client-onboarding meetings, internal business-development discussions and preparation of pitch / information-pack materials (for prospective fund clients) as needed.
  • Provide ad-hoc operational support for the Fund Management team (e.g., data room set-up, Q&A responses, internal project documentation) in a fast-moving environment.

About You

  • 1-3 years' experience in fund operations, fund administration, alternative-asset operations, private-markets operations or corporate-services/VC-fund operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of fund-structuring mechanisms, tokenisation, digital-securities and secondary-markets.
  • Excellent attention to detail, process-orientation and organisational skills
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) with ability to prepare investor-reports, internal memos and client-facing presentation materials.
  • Able to work independently in a start-up / high-growth fund-services environment: comfortable with ambiguity, rapid priorities and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of MAS regulations, Fund Management licensing, AML/KYC background or alternative-asset markets is highly preferable.
